Touchmate demos mobile products

Touchmate is showing off its latest 3-SIM mobile phone and its 8-inch Touchscreen HDMI Internet Tablet.

The Dubai-based company is talking up two 3-SIM models; the Trio TM-M900 and the Jakaz TM-M950. Some of the core features include 3-SIM standby, Wireless FM, Bluetooth and direct MP3 keys. The TM-M950 also has a full QWERTY keyboard which the company says is ideal for messaging and social networking as well as TV tuner and dual cameras.

The Touchmate 8-inch Touchscreen HDMI Internet Tablet runs on Android 2.3 and is bundled with a HDMI cable and wireless mouse. Touchmate says you can connect it to your normal LCD TV and ‘convert’ it into a Smart Internet TV.

Vasant Meghnani, Managing Director, Touchmate explains, “Touchmate creates value-for-money products with a focus on quality, giving the user a chance to experience the same quality as an MNC brand. We make user-friendly products that we want people to enjoy as part of their everyday life. For instance the 3-SIM phones - even I hate carrying another SIM or phone in my pocket when I’m travelling and sometimes people also lose the SIM, hence through my own experience and wanting to innovate I felt there is a need for a 3-SIM mobile phone.”

When asked about why he feels GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK is the right show for Touchmate, Meghnani says, “This is the best place to launch a product because the show has a lot of hype and people from all over come to the show allowing them to visualise and realise how trendy we are.”
