Sony Pictures site gets hacked
Hacker group claims to have taken millions of pieces of unencrypted customer data
Sonypictures.com is reportedly the latest Sony site to be hacked.

Sony has reportedly suffered another security breach on one of its websites.
Hacking group LulzSec claims to have stolen over one million password, email addresses and other customer information from SonyPictures.com, the website of Sony's entertainment division.
LulzSec, which also claimed to be behind an attack on Sony Music Japan and the hacking of New Zealand's PBS broadcaster, said it was able to hack a database and access unencrypted passwords, names, addresses and dates of birth of Sony customers.
Sony has suffered a run of hacking attacks recently, beginning in May when the Sony Playstation Network was breached, and remained out of action until yesterday.

It sad that Sony site has been hacked 2nd time in short time. It is a set back and a lesson for other enterprises to work on strengthening security and protecting identities of their customers. On the flip side thanks to LulzSec for highlighting lose security walls of the global enterprises.
On a serious note Sony may have suffered brand value erosion but individuals could expect to lose more
