Putting the bundle to the test we found it easy to setup, though you'll need to have an nVidia GeForce graphics card in your PC to be able to play your games in 3D. You'd also need to bear in mind that the majority of games on this system have 3D effects that rely more upon field of depth as opposed to actual 3D vision (that pops out of the screen).
What’s unique about this also is that you can adjust the field of depth on the IR Emitter. nVidia does however state that in future more games will have 'out of the screen' 3D effects. This reviewer had the chance to try it out on a number of games, and the 3D kit worked very well with Resident Evil 5 in particular. Even though this game title had more of an inner-3D look; the game looks really good with this kit as objects such as bats literally look as if they’re flying around when you're shooting at them.
On the flipside we found that with certain parts in the screen, some games don’t render in 3D properly. In other words you will see the two images that you wear whilst wearing these glasses, which can be quite an issue. After extended use this reviewer also experienced a headache bought on by eyestrain but this will differ from gamer to gamer.
Verdict: Good value for money and impressive 3D effects on certain games. But 3D effects vary from game to game.
